Permaculture Kernow’s 8 module, 16 day in depth certificated design course.

“Permaculture is the design of regenerative, self-sustaining and resilient natural systems that fulfil human needs such as food, shelter, health, social, cultural and psychological needs whilst acknowledging and providing for the needs of all species within our ecosystem and caring for the Earth.”                 Joshua Gomez, Ecological solutions

This promises to be quite an adventure, as we delve deeply into the life changing world of permaculture. Participants will have the opportunity discover all facets of permaculture in theory sessions and also have hands on experience in our practical sessions, as we design and implement a community garden. Alongside this course there is an online learning program to guide you through the process of designing your own permaculture landscape and lifestyle, that can bring natural abundance, to be enjoyed by  you and all the family. On top of all of this you will get the internationally recognised Permaculture design certificate.

You can choose to do the whole 8 weekend course, or dip into the modules that you are most interested in. We encourage you to do the whole course and gain the certificate by offering a discounted rate of £400, rather than the normal of £60 a module, and don’t worry if you can’t make it to all the days this time round, we will be running the same course next autumn and you can catch the days you missed then. But we do ask that all participants that intend to cover more than one module, to please attend the first weekend. It is recommended to at least have full introduction to the overall subject, before acquiring more in depth knowledge of any of the specific subjects covered in this course.

There are a few subsidised places available for inspired individuals from low income households, to apply please contact us.
